Mobile Congress in Shanghai from October 11-13, 2004.
GMC¡¯2004¡¯s theme is ¡°Defining future China Mobile
Communication Technologies¡±. Around 150 selected technical
papers will be presented in this important technical
conference, and major industry leaders will be delivering
the keynote speeches in this prestigious mobile summit.
Research
on Beyond 3G and 4G mobile communication has become
extremely important towards the global mission of ITU
WRC¡¯2007. As of June 30, 2004, over 5,000 major research
projects are involved on this subject, and
by 2008
over $400B will be invested for this technology worldwide.
As a sub-conference of the world¡¯s famous World Wireless
Congress, the conference served as an annual event for the
research community in the region to share recent results,
experimental data and to discuss future directions in B3G
and 4G wireless and mobile communications. We are very
excited to have attracted so many of the world¡¯s top
researchers, scientists and engineers to this event,
including, many IEEE fellows, famous professors and
industrial pioneers in the field.
GMC¡¯2004 will also act as the All-Hands forum for
